The Hindi essay writing competition for the Zonal Cultural Competition 2024-25 was held at Salwan Boys Sr. Sec. School on August 8, 2024. The event was organized by the Department of Education, Delhi, and saw participation from 40 schools, including Government, Government-Aided, and Recognized Unaided Private Schools under Zone 28.

A total of 74 students participated in the competition, with categories for Junior girls and boys, and Senior girls and boys. The Junior group wrote essay on the topic-सोशल मीडिया-वरदान या अभिशाप (Social Media: Boon or Bane), while the Senior group wrote on the topic-स्कूलों में यौन शिक्षा जरूरी है या नहीं (Is Sex Education Necessary in Schools).

The competition was judged by Ms. Bindu, PGT Hindi from GGSSS, Prem Nagar, Delhi, and Shri Sanjay Kumar, PGT Hindi from Delhi Kannada Sr. Sec. School. The best three essays in each category were awarded first, second, and third places.

Refreshments were served to all participants and the accompanying teachers.
