Two talented students from Salwan Boys Sr. Sec. School, Saksham Mehta and Nursed, made the school proud by participating in the prestigious Shell Changemakers of Tomorrow 2024 event. Held on September 9th, 2024, at KTPO, Bengaluru, this event brings together future innovators and industry leaders to promote sustainability.
The event, organized by Shell, featured esteemed guests like Gaurav Gupta (IAS), Additional Chief Secretary for Energy and Water Resources, and Madhu Bangarappa, the Honourable Minister for Primary and Secondary Education. A total of 12 students from Delhi, Maharashtra, and Karnataka were selected out of 3 lakh participants nationwide, making this a highly competitive platform.
Saksham and Nursed were inspired to participate after attending the Shell Nxplorer workshop at their school in April 2024. Their dedication led to their project being chosen to represent Delhi at this esteemed event.
At the event, they presented their project with confidence, interacting with experts, scientists, and students from diverse fields. Their efforts were recognized with certificates and medals, presented by Chandru Iyer (British Deputy High Commissioner to Karnataka and Kerala) and Anirban Badhuri (Principal Researcher at Shell).
