The ATC Camp-1 was organized by 2 Delhi Bn NCC at Delhi Cantt from 6th May to 15th May. A total of 38 students from Salwan Boys Senior Secondary School participated in the camp.
Theory classes on techniques of firing, map reading etc were followed by practical training that included rifle firing, point-to-point march, obstacle course, Drill and P.T. Various lectures on topics like hygiene and sanitation, motivation, career options etc were organised by the officers of the NCC Bn and ANOs. There were special sessions held to motivate the students to join the Army. They were informed about various options available, and the career prospects in the Indian Armed Forces.
As part of extra-curricular activities in the camp, exciting competitions like Nukkad Natak, Group Discussions, and Debates were conducted. In the Group Discussion, Vatsal, Utsav, and Pushpendra from class IX secured First place and were awarded medals and certificates for their outstanding performance.
Aryan Dey of class IX was recognized as the IInd Best Cadet in the camp and received the IInd Best Cadet certificate for his dedication throughout the camp activities.
After 10 days of hectic training, a huge campfire night was organised on the last day. It was full of fun and frolic, as everyone enjoyed the dancing and singing activities.
The camp was a great success, with students learning important skills and enthusiastically participating in all the activities.
