The Vidyanjali programme, an initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, was celebrated on July 29, 2024, at Salwan Boys Senior Secondary School as part of Community Involvement Day during Education Week. Vidyanjali aims to strengthen government and government-aided schools by fostering participation from the community and private sectors, connecting schools with volunteers, including young professionals, and retirees.
The event at the school featured various activities focused on engaging students and raising awareness. A drawing competition was organized, where students showcased their creativity. Additionally, students made, and displayed posters related to the Vidyanjali programme, which highlighted the importance of community involvement in education.
To further promote the programme and create public awareness, a rally was held with students marching while holding posters. This rally aimed to spread the message of Vidyanjali to the broader community, emphasizing the significance of collaborative efforts in enhancing the quality of education in government and government-aided schools.
